THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS
With the new year came a number of changes for the Colorado Open championships. Inspirato, a luxury travel subscription brand based in Denver, became title sponsor and as part of their 5-year commitment, the Women’s Open purse was raised to match the Men’s – $250,000 each with $100,000 awarded to each winner! Inspirato’s bold initiative marks a major milestone in state open golf history – the first time men and women played for equal purses. The Colorado Senior Open purse increased from $65,000 to $90,000 and first place increased from $12,500 to $18,000. The Colorado Opens currently have the highest state open purses in the country.
The Inspirato Colorado Open Championships support First Tee – Green Valley Ranch, which exists to enable kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, we create learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids carry to everything they do.
