Mile High Magazine 11/17/19 Governor’s Residence Holiday Tours

Guest: Coco Criste, Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund Executive Director and David Rote Lead Designer  The mansion was built in 1908 as a residence for the widow and the daughter of Denver real estate tycoon Walter Cheesman. Claude K. Boettcher purchased the mansion in 1923. After Boettchers died, the house was inherited by the Boettcher Foundation and they offered the house to the State of Colorado as an Executive Residence.  You can take a free tour of the Governor’s Residence this holiday season.  Tours will be offered Thursday-Sunday, Dec. 5-9 and Dec. 12-15 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. http://www.coloradoshome.org/
