Terry Wickstrom Outdoors Hour 1: 9/9/17

Chad LaChance joins the show in studio! Chad tells Terry bottom-fishing is not his strength, but long casts with fly rods are a different story. The guys preach selective harvests, and Chad mentions his women's guide is a true fisherman. The guys talk Alaska, and the great outdoor activities here in Colorado despite the transition period at Horsetooth. Terry & Chad talk about the No Child Left Inside event at Cheyenne Mountain State Park. Also, Ray Reeves of Adventure Camper joins the show to discuss pop-ups available for rent, as well as towing vehicles. Terry asks Ray about the towables compatible with small V6 SUVs that have nice floor-plans. Administrative Assistant at Jackson Lake State Park Darby Shanks joins the show to discuss the Dutch Oven & Chili Cook-off. Darby says boats are still able to get out with no problem, and sandy beach is now available with the water down a bit. Also, wipers & walleye are being caught currently, and Chad mentions the focus on the bottom-catch. In this week's edition of Terry's TACKLE TALK, Terry & Chad discuss the Berkley Max Scent Power Bait, including advantages for catching more fish. Terry is sold on this new power bait, and Chad has been for a while. Chad tells Terry he spoke with the chemist behind the Berkley Max Scent, and now knows how it avoids drying out like the Gulp! version. Chad says this bait is ultra-flexible and porous, and Berkley finally got it right.
