Deion Sanders watch: former Bronco says Prime to CU is a “done deal”

The rumblings keep getting louder.
We’ve told you about the report Deion Sanders has been offered the University of Colorado head football coaching job. We’ve passed along that former NFL star wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson thinks it’s a great idea. And now a former member of the Broncos is claiming that “Prime Time” to CU is essentially a done deal. Plus, he’s bringing along some major help.
Su’a Cravens, a safety that played five games in Denver in 2018, created a stir on Friday when he tweeted the following.
!! HUGE UPDATE !!
My sources are saying not only is Coach Prime to Colorado “a done deal” but Coach Sanders plans on bringing on a new DC from Alabama’s staff !! Expect an announcement from either Colorado/PrimeTime this weekend or early next week.

Sanders has a big game on Saturday to coach for his 11-0 Jackson State squad, but it’d make sense that once that’s wrapped up he could be on his way to Boulder. There are other universities still reportedly involved hoping to secure Prime as their next head coach as well, so until he’s spotted in Colorado, anything is possible.
Sanders joked around with a Jackson State reporter earlier this week about if he was coming to CU. He certainly didn’t look like a man who was denying it in the viral video.
Obviously for the Buffs, this would be a major get. There’s been more chatter surrounding the program in the last 10 days than there has been in the last 10 years. That’s the Prime factor. Now, it’s up to Colorado AD Rick George to seal the deal.
And according to Cravens, it’s already done.
