Fumblin’ Melvin Gordon finds new home with one of Broncos biggest rivals

Melvin Gordon certainly does not care about bothering Denver Broncos fans, and he’s doing so again.
NFL Network is reporting that Gordon will sign with the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad. The two-time Pro Bowl running back was cut by the Broncos last week, after another big fumble in Week 11 against the Raiders. His three-season tenure in orange and blue was plagued by issues holding onto the ball. He was given every chance to succeed in Denver but did not.

Now he joins a 9-2 KC team, who has no issue beating the Broncos as of late—winning 13 straight against Denver. The two teams will matchup for the first time this season in 13 days on Sunday Night Football, though the game could be flexed out.
What secrets will Gordon reveal to KC about Denver low-scoring offense that likely doesn’t need help in being stopped? And can Gordon even crack the roster now that rookie Isiah Pacheco has seemingly taken the No. 1 running back spot in KC?
Talked to Melvin Gordon III. He is signing w/Chiefs practice squad. "Good opportunity for me."
Asked if he picked Chiefs on purpose since they play Broncos twice: "I'm not thinking about the Broncos at all. I'm just happy to be playing (bleeping) football again." #9sports— Mike Klis (@mikeklis) November 28, 2022
Either way it’s very fitting of Gordon’s time in Denver to end with him running straight to the Chiefs.
