Broncos injury update: Jacob Martin dealing with knee issue

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Wednesday was like a Thursday for the Broncos … but by any day’s definition, their receiving corps remains affected by injuries.
Neither KJ Hamler nor Jerry Jeudy practiced once again. Hamler has not practiced since injuring his hamstring Nov. 13. Jeudy remains sidelined due to a Nov. 20 ankle injury.
Defensive end Jonathan Harris and cornerback K’Waun Williams remained sidelined with knee injuries. Williams also has a wrist injury that has necessitated playing with a cast before he hurt his knee.
Edge rusher Jacob Martin also did not practice.
“It’s something with his knee that flared up after the game,” Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett said.
On the positive side, long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer practiced. Prior to the session, Hackett said Bobenmoyer would sit out as part of his continued recovery from thumb surgery last month. But when practice began, the third-year long snapper was already at work, firing snaps to punter/holder Corliss Waitman.
“We want to be sure that we protect it because of the surgery and make sure that nothing bad happens as we move forward,” Hackett said.
Bobenmoyer saw limited work, as did five other Broncos: edge rusher Jonathon Cooper (knee), defensive lineman D.J. Jones (hand), running back Latavius Murray (wrist), defensive lineman Mike Purcell (ankle) and safety Justin Simmons (knee).
