Oddsmakers believe Broncos will win on the road, beat Panthers

The Denver Broncos have lost six of their last seven games and are back on the road after an overtime loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Broncos are coming off a 22-16 home heartbreaker, while the Carolina Panthers played the Baltimore Ravens very tough but lost 13-3 this past Sunday. Both the Broncos and Panthers are stuck on three wins.
Denver’s league-worst offense at 14.7 points per game is going toe-to-toe with the eighth-worst offense in Carolina, scoring just under 19 points a contest. The Panthers already fired their head coach earlier this season, moving on from Matt Rhule. The Broncos are still hanging onto Nathaniel Hackett, despite not seeming long for the gig.
Oddsmakers currently predict that the Broncos will win their first true road game of the season in a very low-scoring showdown. Experts say the total score will be around 35 points and expect Denver to take the game by a field goal.
A 19-16 Bronco win doesn’t sound too crazy, but Denver’s defense seems to have been busted a bit late in the game against the lousy Raiders. The Broncos have only had one non-one-score game this season, their first loss to the Raiders. So a tight game without many touchdowns would be fitting for both teams. The Broncos did win a game away from Denver, technically a neutral site match in London.
Carolina would own the second pick in the 2023 NFL Draft if the season ended now, while Denver’s No. 5 pick is sent to Seattle as part of the Russell Wilson deal.
This will be the eighth matchup between the two former Super Bowl foes. The Broncos are6-1 all-time against the Panthers, including the Super Bowl 50 win. The Broncos won a tight game against Carolina in 2020.
The Broncos head up the eastern seaboard, playing in Baltimore the following Sunday.
