Brendan Rodgers has the golden touch, winning the award for the National League’s best defensive second baseman.
The Colorado Rockies infielder tied Ke’Bryan Hayes for the MLB lead in defensive WAR (3.0) and was 2nd in Defensive Runs saved (22 to Hayes’ 24). His defensive runs saved and diving plays (19) led the league among two-baggers.

Rodgers was nominated alongside Rockies’ third baseman Ryan McMahon, who lost out to former Rockie Nolan Arenado en route to his 10th straight Gold Glove at the hot corner.
