The Denver Nuggets tweaked their alternate jersey going into this season, adding a splash of red into the uniform. Now the team is adding more red to their palette with a new city jersey that appears to pay tribute to the original Denver Rockets and the 1990s.
A version of the new city jersey leaked on social media on Tuesday. The new unis show a darker blue, some red and maybe even gold. There are some aspects akin to the Nuggets jerseys of the 1990s. The red and yellow is similar to the original Denver basketball franchise that joined the ABA, the Rockets.
