Watch: Broncos stopped on fourth down, suffer pathetic OT loss to Colts

The was a kick in the gut.
The Denver Broncos lost to the Indianapolis Colts 12-9 on Thursday night in overtime, in one of the worst football games you will ever see.
And the thing is, they actually had a chance to win it. After an Indy field goal gave them a three point lead in OT, the Broncos moved the football down the field. Melvin Gordon danced on a nice screen play. Russell Wilson hit Jerry Jeudy for a long gain, and Denver was in the red zone.
But that’s where more problems ensued, and after three straight Gordon runs, Denver faced fourth-and-one. After a timeout by the Colts and a timeout by the Broncos, they came up with this uninspiring play call.
And the @Colts walk away with the W in OT. #INDvsDEN on Prime Video

Courtland Sutton was the intended target, but it never had a chance. The Broncos are now 2-3, and there will be plenty of fallout from this one. It’s one of the worst regular season losses in this team’s storied history.
