On Sunday, the Broncos honored a key member of their Super Bowl 50 championship team. During a break in the first quarter, Denver paid tribute to Derek Wolfe.
The defensive lineman recently announced his retirement from the NFL. He was a second-round pick of the Broncos in 2012 and spent the first eight seasons of his career in the Mile High City. During his tenure in Denver, Wolfe played 108 games in the orange and blue, recording 299 combined tackles, 33.0 sacks and 46 tackles for a loss. He was also a part of the team’s stout defense in 2015, a group that helped the Broncos win their third Lombardi Trophy.
