RG Quinn Meinerz also returned to practice for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury Sept. 12 at Seattle. Meinerz saw limited work Thursday.
ILB Josey Jewell also had a full practice workload for the first time since his Sept. 8 calf injury. Jewell saw limited work on Wednesday, as well as last Friday. He did not play in either of the Broncos’ first two regular-season games.
WR Jerry Jeudy did not practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday’s work. However, he did catch passes off to the side while wearing a helmet and shoulder pads. Jeudy injured his sternum in the first quarter Sunday and is considered day-to-day.
Jeudy was one of just two Broncos who did not practice Thursday; CB Darius Phillips was the other. Phillips injured his hamstring last Sunday.
RT Billy Turner also saw a full practice workload once again.
“We’re just kind of working through that, making sure we do it the right way,” Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett said.
However, Hackett did not say whether Turner would start at right tackle if he is healthy. Cameron Fleming started the first two games at that position.
“We’re just evaluating that every day,” Hackett said.
Also:
DL D.J. Jones saw limited work Thursday after sitting out Wednesday’s practice because of an ankle injury.
Edge rusher Randy Gregory had a full workload Thursday after sitting out Wednesday. Denver continues to have Gregory on a maintenance program because of a knee issue.
WR KJ Hamler saw limited work for a second consecutive day. Hamler did not play against Houston as the Broncos wanted to watch his work closely following a nearly-year-long rehabilitation from a torn ACL and a dislocated hip.
CB K’Waun Williams had a full practice load for the second consecutive day. Williams has been dealing with a wrist issue.
S Caden Sterns saw full work Thursday after being limited Wednesday due to a hip issue.
