Montrell Washington is going to be a problem for opposing defenses.

The Broncos’ fifth-round pick out of Samford is insanely fast. While Denver is excited about him in the return game, he will hopefully be a big part of the offense as well. Washington made his case on Saturday night in the team’s preseason finale against the Vikings, scoring a slick touchdown on a well-designed play.

Washington might still be “fighting” for a roster spot, saying he still has a lot to prove, but I’ll go ahead and say now he’s made the team. It would be a shock not to see Washington on Denver’s 53-man roster come final cuts on Tuesday.

The Broncos lead the Vikings 10-7 late in the first half.
