If you follow Denver Nuggets point guard Bones Hyland on Twitter, you know he’s desperate for help in finding his lost dog.
So, we’re here to spread the word.
Hyland first reported the dog, a Miniature Poodle named Aahja, missing on Sunday. She slipped out of her collar at Circle K on Lincoln Avenue in Parker. Some Twitter sleuthing appears to show the Circle K near I-25 and Lincoln, with an address of 9945 S. Oswego Street.
Here are some of Hyland’s tweets over the last few days, including a handsome cash reward and a signed jersey if you help him get Aahja home.

Obviously, for anyone who has ever owned a dog, this situation is heartbreaking. Dogs are a big part of our lives, and not knowing where they are is a miserable feeling.
Hopefully Bones and Aahja can be reunited soon — we’ll pass along an update if there’s any news to share.
