Watch: Nathan MacKinnon ties it for Avs in Tampa to start second period

The Colorado Avalanche got back into it, tying the Tampa Bay Lightning at 1-1 to start the second period.

Bolts head coach Jon Cooper was not happy about the goal, coming on a delayed penalty against Tampa.

Nathan MacKinnon and the Avs made quick work of the extra man, scoring at 1:54 into the second period. It was MacK’s postseason-leading 13th goal. It was assisted by Gabriel Landeskog and Bowen Byram.

The Avs and Bolts are tied at 1-1 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. The Avs lead the best-of-seven series 3-2.
