The Stanley Cup Final came back to Denver with the Avalanche leading 3-1, and only one team in NHL history had erased a 3-1 deficit in the Stanley Cup Final.

But Tampa Bay got off to a good start, scoring one in the first to take a 1-0 lead into the second period.

The Avs answered the Bolts back, scoring at 5:07 of the second period to tie the game at 1-1.

It was Valeri Nichushkin’s ninth playoff goal, getting helpers from  Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar.

Game 5 is tied 1-1.
