The last 72 hours have been brutal for Avalanche center Nazem Kadri after he received racist threats in St. Louis following an unfortunate collision with Blues goalie Jordan Binnington.
But the Avalanche are back home for Game 5 at Ball Arena and Kadri was showered with love pregame, as hundreds of fans brought signs supporting him. One Avs fan, Adrienne, printed out more than 300 “Stand with Naz” flyers and put them on seats in the stands.
Between those and plenty of other homemade versions, the crowd looked awesome pregame with messages of love and support for Kadri. Here’s a sampling:

This is obviously amazing to see and just another reminder Colorado is an extremely welcoming and supportive place. The Avs, looking to eliminate the Blues in Round 2, currently lead 2-0 after the first period of Game 5.
