Nazem Kadri taunts Blues fans after scoring not once, but twice

May 23, 2022, 9:18 PM

Coming into Game 4, Nazem Kadri was public enemy No. 1 in St. Louis. After being involved in a play that injured Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington, the Avalanche’s chief instigator was the center of attention on Monday night.

From the opening face off, Kadri was in the spotlight. Every time he touched the puck, the center was booed by the fans at Enterprise Center.

In the second period, Kadri responded with his second goal in the last two games. After scoring, he let the Blues faithful know that he heard their chirping.

Moments later, the Blues took out their frustration on Kadri. A couple of cheap shots drew two penalties, setting Colorado up with a 5-on-3 power play.

While the Avalanche didn’t score on the power play, they did find the back of the net just after it expired. Once again, it was Kadri. And once again, Kadri had a few choice words for the St. Louis fans.

At this point in the series, it’s safe to say that Kadri is having his way with the Blues. Three goals in two games. And clearly living rent free in the heads of the players and fans.
