The Colorado Avalanche had a great first period in Game 4 of Round 2 against the St. Louis Blues, but couldn’t score.

The Blues scored on a few shots, taking a 1-0 lead into the first break. The Avs came out and quickly tied it, then took the lead then scored. And it was quick, 92 seconds quick.

First Erik Johnson scored at 2:44, getting help from Bowen Byram and Alex Newhook—who made his postseason debut.

Over a minute later at 4:07, Nazem Kadri scored to take an Avs lead at 2-1, getting an assist from Valeri Nichushkin.

Just 19 seconds later Devon Toews found twine.

The Avs actually scored again three minutes and one second later to add to the lead at 4-1, it was again Kadri.

In total it was four goals in under five minutes.
