Broncos win award for Peyton Manning’s hilarious web video

Peyton Manning’s post-career video stardom was recognized on Tuesday as the Hall of Fame quarterback’s social spot releasing the Denver Broncos 2021 schedule earned a 2022 Webby Award.
The award, chosen by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is known as the premier award for internet content. The Broncos are now the first NFL franchise to win a Webby and the video staring Manning was also named the Webby’s People’s Voice Winner.
The Sheriff moonlighting as an intern picked up over two million views according to a Broncos news release. Manning performed various tasks with departments around the team as he popped his humor and chops that make Peyton’s Places a fan favorite.

Past winners of the Webby include NFL Media’s “I am Shaquem Griffin”, NFL Network’s “NFL 360: The LA Marathon: Nipsey Hussle” and KTTV’s “Morgan Freeman Narrates ‘Dear Kobe.'”
The Broncos beat out Laundry Service, Translation LLC, Beats by Dre and LDWW as the other finalists in the Sports Social video category. The Orange and Blue’s social team were also named a 2022 Webby honoree for their Bud Light Showtime Camseries in the Social, Sports (Series & Campaigns) category.
The Broncos 2022 schedule releases on May 12.
