Clayton: A lot comes to an end on Saturday for the Broncos

The Broncos season closes on Saturday when they play the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City has some huge advantages against Denver.
They have Patrick Mahomes. They have Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. They’re a team that has been to the Super Bowl two years in a row.
Meanwhile, the Broncos are missing three key starters in their talented secondary. They won’t have safety Kareem Jackson, or cornerbacks Patrick Surtain and Ronald Darby.
All eyes will be on Vic Fangio, who is probably in his last game as Broncos head coach. There is no guarantee Fangio will be fired, but there appears to be a good chance. The Broncos are locked into last place in the AFC West and it’s their third straight year out of the playoffs.
We’ll see how competitive the Broncos will be. I wouldn’t be surprised if the players to their best to make it as good as possible on the field for Fangio. I don’t think there is any question they like him as coach. He’s done a great job with the defense.
But it all comes to an end on Saturday.
