Broncos players deserve plenty of blame for the team’s three-game slide

It’s no secret, the Broncos are an abject disaster. They have a defensive coordinator cosplaying as a head coach, a below average quarterback, a weak offensive line and an overrated defense.
This team constantly shoots themselves in the foot with long third downs, bad clock management and, most recently, terrible challenge flags thrown. They can’t seem to get out of their own way with this coaching staff, but ask yourself this, Are any Broncos players playing at a Pro Bowl level?
It’s easy to blame the coaches, and frankly, none of them deserve the jobs they have. But what players are playing at a high level?
Bad teams still have star players, who are the Broncos elite guys? Von Miller has gone into the witness protection program the last two weeks, Justin Simmons is not living up to his contract and Garett Bolles has come back down to earth. Who on this team is standing out as a star?
With the recent loss to the Raiders, if the Broncos lose to the Browns and don’t make some sort of coaching change, the team will lose all of what little credibility they have with Broncos Country. But it won’t matter if none of the players step up and make plays.
This team is bad from top to bottom, and the coaching staff needs to be cleaned out. But take a good look at this roster. Who are you rushing to re-sign? Who are you wanting to pay big money to?
Yes, the Broncos have coaching issues. But the players are at fault too.
