Clayton: A good news day for the Broncos on the injury front

It looks as though Teddy Bridgewater should be able to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. That’s important.
Like the Baltimore Ravens, the Steelers have a great pressure defense. The Ravens gave the Broncos nightmares last week with their blitz package.
The Steelers don’t blitz as the Ravens, but they blitz enough to cause problems. That’s why it will be so important for the Broncos to run the ball more
Melvin Gordon is banged up and should play. The team needs more of Javonte Williams, who looks powerful and great.
One thing that the Broncos have done is get the ball more to tight end Noah Fant. Because of the injuries to Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler, Fant has been featured more.
Courtland Sutton is still a Pro Bowl-caliber talent. Tim Patrick is good at wide receiver. But the Steelers have a decent secondary and they have T.J. Watt as a main pass rusher.
The good news is that is Jeudy could be back soon. He’s injury was six to eight weeks, but it looks more like six. He could be back in two weeks. That’s good news. Hamler is out for the season.
The final decision on Bridgewater will be Saturday, but it looks encouraging. The other good news is that Dalton Risner and Graham Glasgow will be able to return to the starting lineup, so the team won’t be young at guard.
All in all, it was a good news day on the injury front for the Broncos.
