The Denver Broncos offseason has come a bit more into focus, as the NFL released on Thursday each team’s OTAs and minicamp schedules.
Denver will hold mandatory minicamp from June 15-17 to go with rookie minicamp, which will be held May 14-16.
The Broncos will also have 10 offseason workout dates:
• May 24-25
• May 27
• June 1-2
• June 4
• June 7-8
• June 10-11
While both minicamps are mandatory, the remainder of the nine-week offseason program is voluntary.
In a statement in mid-April through the NFL Players Association, the Broncos players opted out of offseason workouts out of a concern for COVID-19 protocols.

However, it’s uncertain what impact Ja’Wuan James’ season-ending Achilles injury might have on volunteer attendance for team sanctioned workouts.
James tore his Achilles earlier this week while working out away from the facility on his own time. On Wednesday, the NFL sent out a memo using James as a cautionary tale about injuries suffered away from team facilities and what impact that could have on players’ money.
DenverFan.com NFL Insider John Clayton said on Wednesday that James’ injury could not have had worse timing, as it could not only set back the Broncos an offensive lineman but the right tackle $30 million.
