The Colorado Avalanche are headed to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the fourth consecutive season.

The Avalanche clinched the playoff spot on Thursday night after defeating the St. Louis Blues 4-2.

This is the fourth straight season that the Avalanche has reached the NHL postseason, the team’s most consecutive trips since making 11 straight playoffs from 1994-95 to 2005-06.

Per NHL PR, the Avalanche are averaging 3.33 goals per game in the postseason during their current streak of appearances (since 2018), only the Oilers (3.75) have a higher rank in that same timeframe.

Colorado has 12 games games remaining on the regular season schedule. They sit at 31-9-4 and their 66 points rank second behind Vegas (68 points) in the West Division.

Per the Avalanche, ticketing information for playoff home games will be released early next month. Season Ticket Members will be receiving information first on how to secure seats for the postseason.
