The Colorado Avalanche scrapped their morning skate ahead of Wednesday night’s road tilt with the St. Louis Blues due to a single positive test for COVID-19 during Tuesday’s testing, the team announced.
The person involved is in isolation, the team reports, and all other players and staff have tested negative as of Wednesday morning.

Per 104.3 The Fan Avalanche Insider Adrian Dater, Colorado vaccinated all players and staff after Monday night’s 4-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes.
Before Wednesday’s news, one player — defenseman Bo Byram — had a positive test for COVID-19. Per Dater, he remains in quarantine and “likely won’t be able to play for the team another couple of weeks, at minimum.”
