The Broncos quest to rebound from a 5-11 was supposed to start on Monday. That day, Denver’s offseason program is set to begin, with voluntary workouts commencing.
But things won’t kick off as planned. On Tuesday, the NFLPA announced that the Broncos players had voted to skip the start of offseason workouts, citing concerns about the COVID-19 protocols in place.

This is certainly a setback for Vic Fangio and Company. Hoping to end a skid of four-straight losing seasons, the head coach and his staff were counting on the offseason to get things off on the right foot.
After all, a lot of the team’s woes in 2020 were blamed on COVID ruining the offseason. Now, it appears another season is heading down the wrong road.
