One key Broncos coach is a must keep past 2021

George Paton has a lot on his plate as the new Denver Broncos general manager, as he inherited a lame duck coaching staff, a quarterback with a lot to prove and the most expensive defense in the game.
Paton has already fixed many of the issues on defense and seems to be winning over the majority of Broncos Country, but he is still stuck with Vic Fangio, Pat Shurmur and Drew Lock.
He’ll need to hire a new coaching staff in 2022, but he does have one man he absolutely needs to keep on: Mike Munchak.
The Broncos coaching staff leaves a stale taste in the mouths of Broncos Country. Whether it be watching Fangio botch time outs or Shurmur draw up plays his players can’t execute, Denver is a tough team to watch.
However, the Broncos offensive line was actually a bright spot in 2021, which makes the 5-11 season that much more disappointing. For instance, Drew Lock got sacked 19 times, but many of them could be blamed on the quarterback.
Munchak has done wonders for the offensive line, especially left tackle Garett Bolles, who was a second-team All-Pro selection in 2021 and earned himself a long-term contract.
If the Broncos want to continue getting the best out of their left tackle, it’s crucial to Bolles’ growth if Munchak sticks around.
Think of Munchak as the Cus D’Amato to Bolles’ Mike Tyson. He will get the best out of him.
