The Colorado Rockies are adding a veteran arm to its bullpen, as FanSided MLB Insider Robert Murray reports the club has come to an agreement with right-hander Ivan Nova.
Nova, 34, entered spring training with the Philadelphia Phillies though was released late last month after posting a 7.30 ERA in 12 1/3 innings of work.
An 11-year MLB veteran, Nova made his debut with the New York Yankees in 2010, where he has spent much of his career. In six-plus seasons with New York, Nova posted 53-39 record with a 4.41 ERA, 1.388 WHIP and 7.4 WAR.
In August 2016, Nova was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he played for three seasons before bouncing around to the Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox and, most recently, the Phillies.
