The Atlanta Falcons are “open” and receiving trade calls for the fourth-overall pick in this year’s upcoming draft, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
With teams locked into the first three overall picks, the Atlanta Falcons now have received trade calls from multiple teams and “are open to moving” out of the No. 4 spot, per source.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers are expected to take quarterbacks with the first three selections, leaving the Falcons in control of their destiny if other teams want to move up to land another quarterback.
The Denver Broncos hold the ninth-overall pick in the draft, and the Sam Darnold trade on Monday had a significant ripple effect for specific teams who need a quarterback.
The Falcons have a franchise quarterback in Matt Ryan, so realistically there is no immediate need to select a quarterback at four, putting them in an enviable position.
The Broncos can make a move here if they see a top prospect fit the “competition” mold that general manager George Paton wants for Drew Lock.
