NFL Mock Draft Tracker: Could the Broncos trade down?

With the release of A.J. Bouye, the Broncos’ depth at the cornerback position is sparse. Could Denver be looking for a corner with the No. 9 pick in this year’s NFL Draft?

ESPN and Pro Football Focus both had Denver trading the ninth overall pick in their latest mock drafts.

In Mel Kiper’s latest mock he projects the Denver Broncos will trade down with the New England Patriots to take cornerback Caleb Farley from Virginia Tech with the 15th overall pick. The Patriots will in turn move up six spots and get their quarterback of the future in Trey Lance with the ninth-overall pick.

Pro Football Focus has Houston trading quarterback Deshaun Watson to the Broncos for the ninth overall pick, a 2021 second-rounder, 2022 first-rounder, 2022 second-rounder and 2023 first-rounder.
