In the first hour, DMac and Tom go through the Big Story of the Day – Jake Butt will be undergoing a scope tomorrow on his left knee. Brock Osweiler met with the Colts yesterday, are the Broncos missing the window of opportunity to bring him back? The guys discuss if the torch will officially be passed down from Von Miller to Bradley Chubb this season.
In the second hour, DMac and Tom discuss their expectation for Bradley Chubb this season and discuss things the Broncos did defensively in 2015 that made them the best in the NFL. The guys react to comments from Joel Klatt regarding Rich Scangarello’s offense and the major concerns he has along the offensive line. Nick Ferguson joins the show to discuss which Broncos could be on the bubble heading into the final preseason game and give his take on Andrew Luck’s abrupt retirement.
In the third hour, Tom hilariously tries to make sense of the new Star Wars trailer, despite not having seen the majority of the movies. Tom admits he has jury duty this weekend and DMac recalls the time he was on a jury that was connected to the Darrent Williams case.
In the fourth hour, DMac and Tom recap the top stories of the day. The guys discuss Brock Osweiler’s visit to the Colts, Bradley Chubb’s expectations, Von Miller’s future with the team and more! Tom compares his 53 man roster projection to Jeff Legwold’s on ESPN. With the help of Zach Bye, DMac digs up an old, semi-critical tweet from DMac about Bradley Chubb and together they react to Joel Klatt’s comments and concerns about the Broncos’ offense.
