In the first hour, DMac and Tom react to the responses from Schlereth and Evans, Nick Ferguson, John Davis and Stokley and Zach regarding Tom’s expectations for the Broncos in 2019 and beyond. Tom questions how some of his coworkers can call him a “villain” when he is the most optimistic about the team heading into this season. DMac says he may be changing his tune when it comes to Drake’s super-fan role with the Toronto Raptors. ESPN’s Pedro Gomez joins the program to break down the current state of the Colorado Rockies ahead of their game against the Baltimore Orioles.
In the second hour, DMac and Tom discuss the latest on Chris Harris Jr.’s contract situation. Is a raise this year and a chance at the open market next year the best option for both teams? What does it say about the Broncos that they essentially never intended to extend Harris? Tom questions how some of his coworkers can call him a “villain” when he is the most optimistic about the team heading into this season. D-Mac says Tom is spot on in saying a successful season for the Broncos means no less than 10 wins, based on the off-season moves they have made.
In the third hour, DMac says he may be changing his tune when it comes to Drake’s super-fan role with the Toronto Raptors.
