Watch: MLB Network breaks down Nolan Arenado stellar web gem

Extraordinary plays have become the norm at the hot corner for the Colorado Rockies, but what Nolan Arenado did Wednesday against the San Francisco Giants had people using words like “greatest ever.”

Nolan being Nolan stopped a line shot to third base from Giants pitcher Ty Blach, grabbed the ball off the dirt at full reach, rolled over his side, and whipped a pitch to first base for the second out of the third inning.

And, people are impressed.

MLB Network’s “MLB Tonight” highlighted the show, with host Greg Amsinger calling it “one of the best plays of the year” and analyst Harold Reynolds saying it could be one of the best he’s “ever seen.”

“This play, it goes down as one of the tops. It looks spectacular in itself, but if you look at all the things he does in this ground ball, it’s absolutely amazing,” Reynolds said.

Check out how Reynolds breaks down the play above or here.
