Inside the Game: Concepts to help Broncos QB Lynch be successful

The search for the next Denver Broncos head coach has already yielded three candidates to take over for the outgoing Gary Kubiak: Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, Kansas City Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub, and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph.
Interviews for each will likely take place over the next week, with Toub scheduled for Friday and Shanahan Saturday.
And a topic of discussion in those meetings is likely to cover what each coach plans to do to develop the Broncos first-round draft pick from 2016: quarterback Paxton Lynch.
During the club’s end of the year press conference on Monday, general manager John Elway said he knows the importance of the relationship between a coach and quarterback, and Denver wants a candidate who can build around its two young gunslingers — Lynch and Trevor Siemain.
Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan’s Football Insider Cecil Lammey said earlier this week that with Kubiak gone, Siemian’s biggest supporter has left the building, meaning the second-year pro could get bumped for Lynch when he’s ready.
In this week’s “Inside the Game,” Lammey, filling in for Mark Schlereth, shows how whoever the new head coach for the Broncos can use certain concepts to help ease Lynch into the NFL.
